Details
The Ansell ActivArmr 97-006 Dyneema carpenter glove, extra large, protects hands against cuts and abrasions, has a polyurethane palm coating that offers greater wear resistance than leather and facilitates gripping tools, and is knit from Dyneema fiber for strength and durability. Dyneema fiber, also known as UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) fiber, offers greater cut protection than leather, greater abrasion resistance than aramid fibers, and greater strength than steel. Ansell's knitted variable stitch design (KVSD) provides a barehanded feeling and breathability. The cuff has a slip wrist design, an adjustable wrist closure for comfort, and an ID nameplate on inner cuff for personal identification. This glove meets American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) 105-2005 performance rating standards for Level 2 cut resistance. It is suitable for use in working with wood, nails, metal, and power tools, as well as cutting, fastening, and carving wooden objects.
