Unlike traditional grinders where there is a locking slide power switch on the top or side of the tool, the non-locking paddle power switch on the SKIL 9296-01 can be found on the bottom of the tool, right where you hold onto it. This way, the tool is powered when you are ready to use it and automatically turns off when released.
